Ruggable Textile Design Internship

During the summer of 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to be a textile design intern for Ruggable LLC. From June to August, my team and I worked to create a cohesive collection of nursery rugs through guided direction. I began the process by compiling inspiration, researching current interior design trends, and curating color palettes specific to our collection’s goals. After research and ideation, I spent the remainder of the summer finalizing the designs through daily test prints and color experiments. I also had the opportunity to work cross functionally with departments including graphic design, digital printing, and trend forecasting. Over the course of the internship, I designed three rugs that are now available for purchase on the Ruggable website; the Verena Soft Pink rug, the Verena Soft Blue rug, and the Verena White Opal rug.
